Staff Accountant

$55,000-$60,000 Depending on Experience
 

H6 Small Business Solutions provides small businesses, primarily construction/remodeling and trades-based businesses, accounting support and advisory services. We’re looking for an entry-level accountant to join our team and handle day-to-day bookkeeping and admin tasks.

What you’ll do:

  • Record and categorize transactions

  • Accounts Receivable/Payable data entry

  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts

  • Assist with monthly reports and tax prep

  • Prepare and provide reports for management

  • Keep client books up-to-date in QuickBooks Online (or similar software)

  • Communicate with clients about bookkeeping questions

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or relevant coursework/experience)

  • Comfortable with Excel and QuickBooks Online. TaxDome experience a plus

  • Experience with small businesses a plus

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn

  • Self-starter, great time-management skills

  • Excellent communicator
